Kenrick W. Young
Mr. Young is a founding member of Young & Lazzarini and currently serves as Of Counsel to the firm. After receiving his law degree in 2004, Mr. Young clerked for the Honorable Bankruptcy Judge Whitney Rimel. Following his clerkship, Mr. Young worked for a top bankruptcy boutique in Los Angeles and Downey Brand LLP in Sacramento. Mr. Young is admitted in all California federal courts with a practice focused on creditor's rights, bankruptcy litigation, commercial litigation, and corporate restructuring.
Mr. Young graduated in the top 15% of his law class from King Hall at U.C. Davis, where he also earned three Witkins awards for highest scores in his law school classes. He graduated magna cum laude from Biola Univesity.
He is AV-Rated by Martindale-Hubbell, the highest possible rating by peers and judges. He is the former president of the Sacramento County Bar Association, Bankruptcy & Commercial Law section.
